EIFERT, Elizabeth H. (Betty Ann) Age 96 of Dayton passed away Sunday, January 25, at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Eugene U. Eifert, her father, John McGinn (1918), her mother and step father, Teresa and Edward F. Fitzpatrick, her brother, Edward F. Fitzpatrick, Jr. and her grandchildren, Janice (Haemmerle) Krumanaker (Matthew) and Stephen Haemmerle. She was retired from Winters Bank/Bank One, and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, St. Anthony Church, the Blackfriars Guild, and sang in both Corpus Christi and Holy Family church choirs, under the direction of her husband Eugene Eifert. She is survived by daughters and sons-in law Patty (Dave) Linegang, Connie (Kevin) O'Neill, Madelon (Bill) Kinzig, Rosemary (Dan) Haemmerle, Janice (Michael) Galamb and son Robert Eifert. She is also survived by grandchildren Andrew (Beth) Linegang, Michael (Betty Ann) Linegang, Terry (Sandy) O'Neill, Brendan O'Neill, Catherine (Steve) Belknap, Christopher Kinzig, Andrea Kinzig, Katie (Colby) Mekus, Wesley (Christine) Galamb, Colleen (Jeff) White and step grandchildren Patrick (Andrea), Tim (Kris), Kevin Brian (Amy), and Shannon (James Krumal) O'Neill. There are also 13 great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces here and in Ireland. Visitation from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue, Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 30, at 11:00 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 830 Bowen St. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty's memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The family would like to thank the staff at Walnut Creek for their loving care.
