KENZIK, ELIZABETH H., passed away peacefully on September 18, 2010 at the Kewaunee Care Center, Kewaunee, WI at the age of 98. Elizabeth was born on June 29, 1912 to Ralph and Johanna Woodall. She married William Vincent Kenzik II on June 28, 1933. She resided in Dayton almost her entire life, before moving to Algoma in July of 2000. Elizabeth devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. We all thank her for all the wonderful memories we have. She is survived by her children: William V. Kenzik III (Marietta), Algoma, WI: Lois Pierce, Eaton and Barbara (Donald) Sturgeon, Dayton. She is further survived by her 8 grandchildren: Michelle (Greg) LeCaptain, Beaver Dam, WI; Brian Kenzik, Sturgeon Bay, WI; Lori Pierce, Dayton; Julie Pierce, Cambridge City, IN; Ronald (Mary) Pierce, Enon; Patrick (Nicole) Pierce, Eaton; Michael (Missy) Sturgeon, Lebanon; Matthew (Courtney) Sturgeon, Beavercreek. She also leaves being 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William on February 3, 1984. Also preceding her in death were her 3 brothers and 1 sister-in-law Art, Robert and Clarence (Kathryn) Woodall and 1 sister and brother-in-law Alma (George) Tyler, also her daughter-in-aw, Arlene Kenzik and son-in-law, Ronald Pierce. The family wishes to thank Fr. Bill Swichtenberg and Kathy Zeman of St. Mary Parish, Algoma, WI along with Dr. Robert Anderson and the entire staff of the Kewaunee Care Center for their wonderful, kind, and loving care given to Elizabeth during her years as a resident there. Visitation will be held, Saturday, September 25th from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
