Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Streit

STREIT, Elizabeth, (Betty Ann) age 90 of Centerville passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018. She was born on November 15, 1927 in Dayton to the late, Frank and Anna (Schroeder) Scheper. Also preceding her in death is her husband, John H. Streit; brothers, Joe, Bob, Frank, Paul and Richard Scheper and sister, Mary (Scheper) Bramlage. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Jim Zwiesler) Perkey, Karen (Louie) Raterman, Donna (Mark) Gimmison; grandchildren, Megan (Dave) Piatt, Erin (Mike) Nienaber, Matt (Liz) Gimmison, Libby (Josh) Fravel, Katie (Victor) Hall, great-grandchildren, Lena, Jack, and Anna Piatt, Luke and Ryan Gimmison, Ellie, Abby, and Emma Nienaber; and numerous extended family and friends. Betty Ann was employed by the Marianist Mission until her retirement at 65. She loved being with family and friends and lived life to its fullest. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 pm on Sunday, September 9 at Westbrock Funeral Home, Bigger Road, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am on Monday, September 10 at Church of the Ascension, 2001 Woodman Dr., Kettering, with Fr. Ed Pratt celebrant. Interment following in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Hospice of Dayton.
