Elizabeth Y. "Betty" Crompton

CROMPTON, Elizabeth Y., “Betty”, age 92 of Kettering passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Dayton on December 12, 1925 to the late, John R. and Irene (Wiggert) Strong. Also preceding her in death is her husband, William “Louie” Crompton in 2017. Betty is survived by sons, Michael L. “Mick” (Connie), Donald J. “Don”, Ronald E. “Ron”; grandchildren, Michelle (Scott) Renda, Mark (Tamie) Crompton, Michael (Leigh) Crompton, Kristin (Jimmie) Deel, Karisa (Chris) Moler; great-grandchildren, Malori Asher, Mitchell, Chloe, Juliana, Cara, Andrew, Dominic, Keenan, Averie, Jimmie, Cora, Mia; brother-in-law, William (Bill) Sommer, brother-in-law, Eugene C. (Mary Ann) Crompton and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty worked with the Montgomery County Auditor for many years and has been a lifelong member of Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church. Friends and family may visit from 2-5pm on Sunday, March 4 at Westbrock Funeral Home, Dayton and from 9:30-11am on Monday, March 5 at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am on Monday, March 5 with Fr. Ethan Moore celebrant. Betty will then be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley or Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church.
