Elvera Gephart

GEPHART, Elvera C. age 92, of Centerville, passed away Saturday January 10, 2009. Mrs. Gephart was a member of the Legion of Mary, a 1934 graduate of Julienne High School, a 1938 graduate of the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing, and a 1941 graduate of the University of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Landis S. Gephart, in 1986. She is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Broerman (Dean Hussong), Martha Gephart (Gerald Press), Cathy St. Pierre (Keith), Susan Petty (Timothy), Carol Dworkin (Steve); 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Clemie Schmidt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Tuesday at Church of the Incarnation with burial following at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-6pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. In lieu of flowers, a Mass may be offered in Elvera's name or a contribution may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the care givers at Heartland of Centerville for all of their loving care of "Mom".
