McIntosh, Emmett P.
Age 84 of Dayton, Ohio. After a lengthy illness, Emmett crossed the finish line on July 7th, 2017. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley and his parents William and Frances McIntosh. He is survived by his three daughters Lynn (Dan) Graham, Julie (Mitch) Waterman, and Laurie (Ken) Cableck. His grandchildren Jessica (David) Lawrence, Danielle, and Joey Graham, Meghan and Makayla Waterman, Timothy Cableck and great grandchild Noah Lawrence. Emmett is also survived by his sisters Mary Ann (AL) Kalal and Kathy (Harry) Bunn, and numerous nieces and nephews. He graduated from Chaminade High School in 1950 then graduated from The Ohio State University. His 35 year career was spent at Frigidaire, retiring as Vice President of Marketing. Emmett’s real passion was his love for Thoroughbred Horse Racing and spending time with his grandchildren. His greatest joys were teaching them how to play poker and attending their sporting events. We would like to thank Hospice of Dayton, especially Angie his nurse, and all of his doctors through the years. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 am Friday, July 14th, at St Charles Borromeo Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
