Eugene Hollencamp

HOLLENCAMP, EUGENE A., "Gene" age 100, passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 in Valparaiso, IN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite (Hoefler) Hollencamp in 1996 and a brother, Francis Hollencamp. Gene is survived by his daughter, Joan (Larry) Murphy, grandchildren: Michael (Jane) Murphy, Kathleen Murphy and Anne (Joe) Kline and great-grandchildren: Alex, Elizabeth, Christopher, Robert, Jonathon, Raymond and Adele. Gene was employed by his family business, Hollencamp Men's Clothing Store in Dayton and later became Vice President of Gustav Wiedeke Company, he was past-president of The Dayton Optimist Club and a 1931 graduate of The University of Dayton. Visitation will be held, Saturday February 20th from 9:00-9:30 a.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, Dayton 45410. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Brown and K Street, Dayton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
