Floyd Newman

Floyd E. Newman, age 72 of Centerville OH passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2024. He was born in Dayton, OH to the late Joseph and Bobbie (Young) Newman, graduated from Patterson Co-op and retired from Flowserve Corporation after 27 years as an iron pourer. Floyd enjoyed hunting, auto racing, and watching western tv shows. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Joseph Newman. He is survived by his wife Pauline (Easterwood) Newman, his children Elizabeth (Richard) Lafferty, son Jason (Emily) Newman, step-children Raymond Dance and Serina Nations, grandchildren Kaleb Dance, Logan Lafferty, Travis Lafferty, Emma Nations, Jacob Nations, Lilli Newman, Gage Newman, Garrett Nations, great grandson Everett Lafferty, sisters Peggy Bettinger and Cheryl Schoonover, and a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1:30-2:30 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd., Kettering, OH. A memorial service will follow beginning at 2:30pm.
