FECKE, Frank A passed away August 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Frank was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Cress and Katherine (Burke) Fecke. Preceding him in death is his wife of 66 years, Jeanne, brother Robert and sister-in-law Anita. He is survived by his children, Joyce Billington (Sonny Hunter), Sheila (Jeff) Stutrud, Robert (Sue) Fecke, Erin (Floyd) Eldridge, Shawn Fecke, Laurie (Phil) Lange; grandchildren, Anna Robinson, Frances (Jason) Rihm, Shannon Harrison, Bridget Quattrucci, William (Krysta) Fecke, Neva (Josh) Weiland, Patrick (Hannah) Eldridge, Kevin (Abby) Eldridge, Jessica Fecke, Jennabelle O’Malley, and Andrew, Monica, Justine and Alex Lange; 20 great grandchildren; sister in law, Barbara; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Frank was a graduate of Chaminade High School and worked as a process engineer for GM and retired after over 40 years of service. Frank was an avid shooter and taught hundreds of children the importance of gun safety. He loved taking his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to the shooting range. He volunteered many hours at the Miamisburg Sportsmen’s Club. Frank also loved camping and took his children to Lake Erie every year for camping, fishing and a day at Cedar Point. Friends and family may visit from 5-8 pm on Friday, September 1, at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering. A mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 2, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish followed by inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. Frank’s family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Laurelwood Assisted Living who lovingly cared for both Frank and Jeanne.
