Fred E. Brothers Jr.

BROTHERS, Jr. Frederick E., age 83 of Centerville, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. Fred was born in Baltimore, MD on December 1, 1934 to the late Frederick and Marie Brothers. Fred was a United States Army veteran where he was a Missile Repairman. He also served in the United States Naval Reserves. Fred worked for The Defense Electronics Supply Center (DESC) for over 25 years as a computer analyst. He subsequently worked as a contractor at Defense Automatic Addressing System Center (DAASC) until his complete retirement from Federal Service. He was married for over 50 years to Audrey (Baker) Brothers until her passing in 2007. He was later married to Norma (Saunders) Brothers for 9 years. Fred is survived by his wife, Norma; daughter, Melissa (Brothers) Rion; grandchildren, Stefanie Lukas, Corey Lukas and Jana Lukas; step-children, Sharon Clanin, Doug Saunders and Scott Saunders. Fred was a wonderful father and husband and will be missed dearly. Friends and family may visit from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm on Saturday, January 6 at Westbrock Funeral Home, Kettering. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm.
