Frederick Charles Brun Jr

Brun, Frederick C, Jr., “Fred”, age 85 of Dayton died of complications of heart disease on Sunday January 3, 2021. Fred was born on January 30, 1935 to Frederick, “Fritz”, and Alma (Bruggeman) Brun. He received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton in 1952 and was an Accountant at WPAFB for 35 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rita (Yost); four daughters and sons-in-law, Sue (Gregg) Soto, Barb (Mike) Mitchell, Patty (John) Nicholas, Becky (Johnathan) Graca; three sons and daughters-in-law, Carl (Karla), Bob (Alexis), Steve (Pam); a sister, Nancy Fletcher and eight grandchildren. Fred was a devout Catholic and a long-time member and officer for Dayton and Ohio chapters of the Catholic Order of Foresters. In the past year, the family bonded together through weekly video calls which helped seal our family roots with cousins, nieces, and nephews.
