Gary Fehrman

Fehrman, Dr. Gary A., age 72 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Gary was a member of the Montgomery County Medical Society and a graduate of Chaminade High School, University of Dayton and Loyola School of Medicine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mildred, and a brother, David Fehrman. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Pat; a son and his wife, Jeff and Anne Fehrman of Oakwood; three daughters and their husbands, Carrie and Eric Ackerman of Oakwood, Amy and Bimbo Welker Marysville, OH, Stephanie and Doug Weeks of Reston, VA; ten grandchildren, Joey and Abigail Fehrman, Emily and Kurt Ackerman, Calli, Charlie, and Casey Welker, Jack, Ryan and Sophie Weeks. Gary's love for his patients and the practice of medicine was only surpassed by his devotion to his family, friends and the love for his wife. The family would like to thank the medical staff at Miami Valley Hospital, especially the doctors, nurses and respiratory therapists on the CICU unit who so compassionately cared for him over the last few months. Please continue to be a blessing to all the patients and families you care for. Visitation will be at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. on Friday, October 9, from 4:00-7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM Saturday October 10, at Holy Angels Church. Inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, immediate family only.
