Genevieve "Genny" Tankersley

TANKERSLEY, Genevieve (Genny)
Age 84, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2014 at Mercy Sienna Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Tankersley, her granddaughter Amy (Seibert) Kronour and 8 of her brothers and sisters. Genny was retired from the Kettering school system. She lived for her grandchildren and family always came first. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Paul) Seibert, her sister Rita Walsh, grandchildren Heather Balser (Fred), Paula Frey & John Kronour; 10 great-grandchildren and her dear friend Ullainee Battigaglia. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Mon. April 14, 2014 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 S. Smithville Rd. Dayton, OH 45420, with Fr. David E. Brinkmoeller, celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 AM Monday until time of service.
