Geraldine Wernersbach

WERNERSBACH, Geraldine, age 88 of Kettering passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born on November 25, 1927 in Meadville, PA to the late, Leon J. and Jeannie (Fitche) Schrubb. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Wernersbach and son, James “Chris” Wernersbach. Jerry is survived by her daughters, Karen Wernersbach, Susan (David) Roush and granddaughter, Lauren Roush. She received her master’s degree in Library Science from Kent State and worked for 22 years as the head reference librarian at the University of Dayton Law Library. Jerry has also been a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church since 1978 and was an avid gardener. Friends and family may visit from 9:30-10:30 am on Saturday, March 12 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church followed by mass at 10:30 am. Jerry will be laid to rest at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Dayton Law School Library, 300 College Park, Dayton, Ohio 45469, in memory of Geraldine Wernersbach.
