Lee, Grace E .(Wehner)
Age 93, of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2018. She was born September 8, 1924.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Caroline (Hummel) Wehner, 5 siblings, husband of 53 years Russell E. Lee, and son Timothy E. Lee.
She is survived by sons David (Lisa) Lee, Thomas (Theresa) Lee, and Michael (Louann) Lee; daughter Susan Lee; and daughter-in-law Candace Lee. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Thomas (Nichole) Lee, Caroline (Matt) Langworthy, Laura (Kyle) Hinkle, Christopher Lee, Evan Lee, David Lannigan, Marissa Ratcliffe, Matthew Ratcliffe, Megan Grace Lee; six great grandchildren: Madison Lee, Carver Lee, Morgan Langworthy, Luke Langworthy, Clara Lannigan, and Acen Lannigan.
Grace delighted in her large, loving family. She enjoyed family fishing vacations in Canada, flower gardening and reading. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 40 years. She loved the Lord, and eagerly anticipated rejoining her husband, son, parents, siblings and dear friends in heaven.
She graduated from St. Elizabeth’s Nursing School in 1947. After raising her family, she returned to nursing, where she lovingly cared for the elderly at Trinity Nursing Home until retiring in 1986.
Visitation on Tuesday, February 6 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 7 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 401 E. 2nd Street, Dayton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Little Sisters of the Poor.
