Gregory Hermann

HERMANN, Gregory M. (10/19/1956-8/30/2011) formerly of Columbus, Springfield and Dayton. Survivors include his parents: Thomas (Mary Lou) Hermann of Springfield and Dorothy (William) Umphrey of Dayton, his sister, Leslie (Dan) Hensley as well as 3 step-brothers: Bill, Mark and Brian and their families; also many relatives and friends. Greg was an accomplished guitarist who played in several professional bands in/out of Columbus, as well as the Ohio State Jazz Band. Greg was a singular accomplished musician that was well respected in local and national communities, his gift and passion was only exceeded by his kindness and steadfast belief and his faith in Christ. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held, Wednesday September 7th from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave, 45410. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery
