Harriet M. Gregory

GREGORY, Harriet M. (Ter) Age 79 of Kettering passed away unexpectedly Wednesday October 1, 2014. Harriet was a member of the VFW and American Legion Women's Auxiliary, graduate of St. Joe's High School, and retired from the Marianist Mission. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 49 years, Thomas J. Gregory in 2004; two brothers, Donald and Dennis Ashurst; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. She is lovingly survived by her five children, Nancy (Don) Burlile, Tim Gregory (Frank), Lori (Herb) Shipman, Ellen Gregory, Stacie (Brian) Cohill; sister, Erma Ashurst; five grandchildren, Nichole (Ken) Richardson, Chris and Matthew Shipman, Todd and Kelly Burlile; three great grandchildren, Isabella, Logan, Tyler Richardson; several brothers and sisters-in-law. Harriet had a kind heart and wonderful sense of humor. She devoted her life to her family and loved spending time together with them and many friends. Harriet was cherished and will be dearly missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM Monday October 6 at Ascension Church. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Marianist Mission or St. Vincent DePaul Society, envelopes will be available at the church.
