Harry C. Heyne

HEYNE, HARRY C., age 84 of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Born March 9, 1927 to Harry F. and Verona Heyne. Harry was preceded in death by his grandson, Kriston Heyne, brother, Robert and his wife, JoAnn. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Janet (Sommer), brother, Kenneth (Pat), sons: Richard (Brenda) and Thomas (Teresa), grandson, Kyle (Heather), step grandchildren: Buddy (Tonya) Leach and Jessica (Brian) Lewis, step great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kain, Triston, Kailey and Brady and other family and friends. Harry was a 1945 graduate of Chaminade High School, worked at the United States Post office for 38 years and 13 years in the mailroom for Montgomery County and was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved hunting, fishing, bowling, attending 60 US National Bowling tournaments and spent many happy hours in his yard and garden. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 3rd from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension on Woodman Ave where he attended since 1956. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Church of the Ascension. He will be greatly missed.
