Helen Homberger

HOMBERGER, Helen Margaret, age 82, of Kettering, OH entered this life on February 6, 1934, in Bucyrus, OH. Helen passed away peacefully on July 31, 2016 surrounded by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert L. Homberger and their five children, Paula Goldsberry (Frank), Scott Homberger (Jody), Laura Hoke (Brady), Brenda Scott (John) and Donna Frey (Mark). She was blessed with 17 grandchildren; Matt Homberger, Ryan Homberger, John Goldsberry, Nick Homberger, Ashley Goldsberry, Kelly Hoke, Lindsey Sweeney, Robert Goldsberry, Tyler Frey, Kendall Frey, Elizabeth Scott, John Scott, Logan Frey, Emily Scott, Austin Frey, James Scott and Elle Scott. Seven Great Grandchildren joined the family starting with; Layla Homberger, Hunter Homberger, Gracie Homberger, Jackson Goldsberry, Kennedy Goldsberry, Noelle Sweeney and Laney Kate Goldsberry. A Memorial Service will be held at St. George’s Episcopal Church, 5520 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Friends and family will gather together in the Undercroft of the church immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, we ask that any donations be sent to Hospice of Dayton or St. George’s Episcopal Church.
