Helen Vore

VORE, Helen E. age 93 of Centerville, passed away Monday, January 25, 2010. Helen was a member of the St. Leonard's Wii bowling, Creative Corner and a past member of Holy Angels Church. She was an active volunteer in the nursing and rehabilitation center at St. Leonard's and a former volunteer at Children's Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Gale, and her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Brandy Hartley. Helen is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Andy Piekutowski of Latham, OH; a brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Mary Hartley of West Milton, OH; three grandchildren, Marianne (Kevin) Mansfield of S. Charleston OH; Beth (Jason) McElwee of Latham, OH; Mark (Renee) Piekutowski of Eaton, OH; six great grandchildren, Joe and Anna McElwee, Todd, Matthew, Tommy, and Olivia Piekutowski; numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 29, 1:00 P.M. at St. Leonard's Center Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. and Friday from 12:30 until time of service at St. Leonard's. Donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton or the St. Leonard's Benevolent Fund.
