Ida Kavy

KAVY, IDA M (POPLIS)., age 88, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Ida was a member of Holy Cross Church and Knights of Lithuania. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Kavy, brothers: John (Adela)Poplis and William Poplis, sisters: Agnes (Gene) Pence and Anne (Karl) Langen, and brother-in-law, Joseph (Ella) Kavy. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Kavy and sons: Stanley (Diana) and John Kavy. Grandchildren: Greg (Stacy) Kavy, Mark Kavy (Julie Hawk), Jennifer (Collin) Abels, and Melissa (John) Bryant, great-grandchildren: Gage Kavy, Ryleigh Kavy, Ashton Hawk-Kavy, Taylor Bryant, Mya Bryant, Hunter Kavy, Brianna Kavy, Hayden and Dage Spinning, special nephew, Bruce (Joy) Langen and best friends, Helen Vaitkus and Alice Petkus. Visitation will be held Monday, December 1st from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave., Dayton. Prayers will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 2nd at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, Dayton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Dayton Area Heart Association.
