Inez M. Young

Young, Inez Margaret, age 89, of Kettering, OH passed away July 14. She was born in Norwood, OH on Aug. 10, 1925 to Malcolm and Inez (Kerkhoff) Perkins. Inez worked as a realtor and had a babysitting service. She was an avid bridge player and world traveler. She is survived by her brother, Robert J. Perkins and his wife, Betty Ann Perkins; her former son-in-law, Richard Schmitt and his wife, Sara Schmitt; her grandchildren, Paul Schmitt, David Schmitt, Christopher Schmitt, and Tiffany Gokey; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Schmitt, Elisabeth Schmitt, Matthew Schmitt, Mary Rose Schmitt, Michael Schmitt, Ryan Schmitt, Megan Schmitt, Meredith Schmitt, Gianna Gokey, and Lillian Gokey. Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Harry William Young; sister, Ruth A. Bruner; and daughter, Inez M. “Meg” Schmitt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on July 18 at St. Margaret of York Catholic Church in Loveland, OH. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in St. Bernard, OH.
