Irene Schneider

SCHNEIDER, Irene F. age 94, of Columbus, formerly of Dayton, passed away Monday April 19, 2010. Mrs Schneider was a former employee of the Kettering Schools where she worked in cafeterias for over ten years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. "Jack" Schneider in 2009; three sisters, Mary Smith, Sarah Noll, Melda Vasco; five brothers, John Boley, Joseph Boley, Thomas Boley, Leo Boley and Daniel Boley. Irene is survived by her daughter, Betty J. and husband Jack Jenkins, Jr.; a son, Bill J. Schneider and his special friend, Mark Daubenmier; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Julie, Jaime, and Jonathan; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Boley; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Thursday at Church of the Ascension, preceded by a prayer service at 10:00am at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice or to a charity of your choice.
