IRONS, JACK J., age 90 of Dayton, passed away, Thursday, January 2, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Columbus, OH on January 7, 1923 at retired after 50 years as a brick mason in Bricklayers Union #22. He was a long time member of Our Lady of Rosary Parish, a charter member of Knights of Columbus Council 4424. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Janet (nee Saskowsky); parents: Frank and Minnie Irons; brother, Robert Irons; sister, Dorothy Leimbeck and great-grandson, Leo Wagner. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen (Michael) Sweeney; grandchildren: Samantha Wagner, Meredith Sweeney, Allison (Jacob) Glysch and Brendan (Diana) Sweeney; great-grandchildren: Nora and Nina Wagner and Noah Glysch. He is further survived by brother, James Irons, sister-in-law, Louise Irons and many dear nephews, nieces, family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, January 6th from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 22 Notre Dame Ave, Dayton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
