James F. Chase

CHASE, James F. "Mace" age 60, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Deborah Chase; sister, Peggy Chase; brother, David (Helen) Chase, sister-in-law, Karen Watt; brother-in-law, Leigh Black; dog, Ginger and numerous nieces and nephews and friends who were devoted to him. Jim was born in Syracuse, NY where he had a love for Syracuse Basketball. He was a graduate of University of Dayton; founding member of the Red Devil's Club and a huge UD Flyer and Cleveland Browns fan. Jim was devoted to his work as a patient advocate for the mentally ill. The family would like to thank the staff at Miami Valley Hospital for their care and compassion. We will miss his views and wicked sense of humor. Visitation will be Friday, January 24th from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00Noon at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd., Kettering.
