COUGHLIN, James J. Sr. age 73 of Dayton, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. James was the active president of the Zoning Commission of Butler Twp., retired from the City of Dayton after 34 years of service and currently worked at LJB as a construction Inspector. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda (Fisher) and a daughter, Colleen. He is survived by his wife, Vicki; children, James Jr. (Karen) of Oakwood, Gary of Butler Twp., Angie Wood (Jeff) of Vandalia, Gregg (Christine Weindel) of Vandalia; step children, Lisa Angell (Thomas Wall) of Centerville, Eric (Sara) Angell of MD; two brothers and their wives, Chuck and Shirley of West Carrollton, John and Carol of Xenia; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday August 25 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 PM and Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , envelopes available at the funeral home.
