Fisher, James M., “Mike”, of Dayton, was born July 16, 1947 to James William, “Bill”, and Patricia (Londergan) Fisher. Mike passed away Wednesday January 31, 2018. He graduated from Chaminade High School in 1965 and began working at Delco Products soon after. He spent 4 years in the Air Force and was stationed at Chanute AFB in IL, Warner Robbins AFB in GA and Lakenheath AFB in Brandon, Suffolk, England. Mike worked for 33 years at Delco Products and spent a portion of those years as Union President for the IUE Local 755. He was a dedicated Union Worker and advocated for those whom he could serve. After retirement, Mike moved to FL and spent 16 years in the Melbourne area. In 2004, Mike became a grandfather and became an important part of his grandchildren’s lives. In 2014, he returned to the Dayton area. He is survived by two sons, Mike (Erin) Fisher and Matt Fisher; a daughter, Margo (Danny) Bellman; a brother, Ken Fisher (Ada Liebeskind); five sisters, Teresa (Mike) Leopold, Kathy (Joe) Holmes, Debbie Fisher, Maria (Ron) Phipps, Chris (Bear) McLean; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Most cherished in Mike’s eyes were his beloved grandchildren: Cara, Ellie, Marianne, Adelaide and Gus. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am, Tuesday February 6 at St. Anthony Church. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00-8:00 pm at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Burial, Calvary Cemetery.
