James T. "Jim" Schneider

Schneider, James T., age 68, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday May 11, 2016. Mr. Schneider was born in Cincinnati to Harold and Mary Schneider. He was a chorus member of the Liederkranz-Turner club in Dayton and a member of the Cancer Support Community. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Catherine Schneider. James is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Sacksteder); two sons, Thomas E. Schneider (Kelly), John J. Schneider (Kristine); his siblings, Rick Schneider (Vic), Mark Schneider, Joe Schneider, Sue Winfree (Bob), Julie Schmidt; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Vince Sacksteder (Detsy), Mary Costanzo (Jim), Ronni Sacksteder (Jane Harper), Nick Sacksteder (Edie); and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Monday May 16, 2016, at Our Lady of Grace parish, Corpus Christi Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-6pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Avenue.
