WILLIAMSON, James R., “Lefty”, age 89 of Centerville passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017. He was born on April 10, 1927 in Dayton to the late, Herbert R. and Josephine L. (Elbert) Williamson. Also preceding him in death is his wife, Phyllis L. Williamson; daughter, Karen; grandson, Jason Leen; brother, Herbert Maris and sister-in-law, Frieda (Bob) Bryan. Lefty is survived by his daughter, Jackie (Mike) Leen; grandchildren, Chad Leen and Ryanne Hale; great–grandchildren, Brandi Fielek, Anna and Delaney Hale; twin brother, Robert L. (Dottie) Williamson; brother, Jack V. Williamson and brother-in-law, Robert (Barb) Rolfe. Lefty served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked for NCR for over 40 years. Friends and family may visit from 10am-11am on Monday, April 10 at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. He will then be laid to rest in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
