Jean K. Kirst

Kirst, Jean K. (nee Begley), passed away Friday August 23, 2013 at Bethany Village where she was a resident. Jean was born December 23, 1920 to Michael and Anna Margaret Begley in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers and sisters: Marguerite Begley, Alice Begley Moss, Michael Begley, Dorothy Begley Coleman, Mary Begley and John Begley. Jean is survived by daughter Judy Kirst Roth and her husband Robert Roth; as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She retired from Ernst and Young CPA’s in 1985 after many years of service as an Executive Secretary. She loved playing cards with her friends and traveling. She traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe as well as Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Tuesday August 27th at Incarnation Church in Centerville. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 at the Church prior to Mass. Thanks to the staff at Bethany for their loving care and attention. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethany Benevolent Fund (6451 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, OH 45459).
