Jerrilyn L. "Jerri" Bensman

Bensman, Jerrilyn L. “Jerri”, age 80, of Centerville, passed away Thursday June 8, 2017. Jerri was a graduate of Julienne High School, Mt. St. Joseph College with a Bachelor’s Degree and from the University of St. Louis with a Master’s Degree in education. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority and the College Women’s Club of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur W. & Margaret L. (Walz), and a sister, Roberta Moeder. Jerri is survived by a sister, Bernadette (Tony) Poole, and a brother, Henry (Bunnie) Bensman; 9 nieces, 3 nephews, 9 great-nieces, 18 great –nephews, 9 great-great nieces, 9 great-great nephews, and many devoted students throughout the world. There will be A Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday June 13th at 10:30am at St. Mary Church of the Assumption in Springboro, with Fr. Jim Manning officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30am-10:30am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sulzbacher Center for the Homeless (611 East Adams St., Jacksonville, FL. 32202) or to the Retired Sisters of Charity, Mt.
