LIENESCH, Joann C. (Murray)
80 of Centerville, passed away at St. Leonard's Center on June 26, 2009. She was born on August 24, 1928 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Joann was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Loretta (Shanahan) Murray, her sister Mary Ann (Murray) Krich and brother James Walter Murray. Joann was raised in Dayton and graduated from Julienne High School with the Class of 1946, then attended the University of Dayton. She is survived by her loving husband, Theodore Robert Lienesch, her sons: Theodore and his wife, Dolores S. (Dowd), Gary and his wife, Christine (Berger) and Gregory, and her grandchildren: Christine Anne Lienesch, Colleen Elizabeth Lienesch and Katherine Margaret Lienesch. Joann was a member of the Church of the Incarnation in Centerville for many years and was active in Womanline of Dayton. Joanne was active in management of Deer Run Condominium, having served on the architectural review board for many years. The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice of Dayton and Saint Leonard Senior for their loving care. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Incarnation, 55 Williamsburg Lane, Centerville on Tuesday June 30 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Womanline of Dayton and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
