John J. Almond

Almond, John J., age 88, of Cincinnati, passed away Monday April 27, 2015. Mr. Almond, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mary Gloria Almond; his sister, Peggy Janowiak; a brother, Jim Almond; and a grandson, Timmy Niesel. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia (Tim) Niesel, Debra (Mike) Gordon; two sons, Jack (Carol) Almond, Terry (Teresa) Almond; five grandchildren, Julie Niesel, Dan (Amanda) Almond, Henry (Jessica) Almond, John Almond III, and Cara (Maurice) Houston; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Jane McKenna. There will be a Funeral Service at 11:00am Friday at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 10-11am at the funeral home.
