Bigger, John H., age 73 of Centerville passed away on 10/10/2018 at St. Leonard's Bernardine Center. John was born January 12, 1945 and attended Corpus Christi Grade School and graduated from Chaminade High School and Wright State University. He was employed for many years at Montgomery County Job and Family Services in Dayton, OH. John was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Catherine (Wenzke) Bigger. He had no siblings but many cousins. The Bigger Family came to Dayton, OH in the early 1800's when they were given land for serving in the Revolutionary War. Bigger Road is named after these Pioneer Relatives of John Bigger and they were also founding members of the Sugar Creek Associate Presbyterian Church in Bellbrook, OH, which later became the Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church at Wilmington Pike and David Rd. in Kettering, OH. John was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church for more than fifty (50) years where his Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12 noon, Wednesday, October 17, 2018. A visitation will be held from 11:30-12:00 prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Conference at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church (envelopes will be available at the church).
