John Dorn,

Dorn, John Edward, Jr., age 53 of Centerville, OH passed away Monday August 25, 2008. Mr. Dorn was a member of the American Legion Post # 598 for 15 years and held the position as SAL Commander and all other Post leadership positions. He was a graduate of both Alter High School and the University of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen and his father John E. Dorn Sr. John is survived by his mother Joan of Hamilton, OH; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary (Scott) Price of SC, Louise (Mike) Hicks of Cincinnati, OH, Laurie Dorn of Lebanon, OH; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph (Charity) of MT, Michael (Patty) of Kettering; three step sons, Thomas, Charles, James; a beloved step granddaughter, Joia; nieces and nephews, Rachel, Lauren, Jackie Hicks,Liza, Emma Price, Andrew, Lindsey Dorn and a devoted aunt, Marilyn Holbrock. Services will be held on Friday August 29, 10:30 AM at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. Fr. Tom Schmidt officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pines Pet Cemetery, envelopes available at the funeral home.
