John Kavy

KAVY, John S. age 58 of Dayton passed away Thursday May 31, 2012. John was a member of the National Restaurant Association, the Polish Club, Knights of Lithuania and attended Chaminade High School Class of 1971 and Ohio State University. John also taught at the Culinary Arts Program at Sinclair for 8 years. He is survived by his sister, Tina Kavy of Dayton; a brother and sister-in-law; Stan and Diana Kavy of London, OH; two nephews, Greg and his wife Stacy Kavy, Mark Kavy; two nieces, Jennifer Kavy Ables and her husband Collin, Melissa Kavy Bryant and her husband John; numerous great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM Monday June 4 at Holy Cross Church. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00-7:00 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dayton, envelopes available at the funeral home.
