MYTRO, John Age 89, of Ft. Myers, Florida, passed away December 18, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Virginia (Kren), sister Sophie Rodgers and brothers Nick and Steve. He is survived by brothers Mike and Joe of Cleveland, OH; daughters and sons-in-law: Cynthia and Robert Yasher of Bridgeville, DE, Julienne and Steve Mock of Centerville, OH; grandchildren: Jason (Melissa) Yasher, Matthew (Taren) Mock, Megan (David) MacFarland and Stephanie (Jeff) Sammons; 7 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Emelia, Tanner, Jacob, Austin, Parker and Aubrey. John was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during WWII and fought in the "Battle of the Bulge". Upon return he married his beloved Virginia and began a 32 year career with General Motors. He retired in 1980 to Florida where he pursued his passion for golf. The Family would like to thank the St. Leonard Retirement Community for the compassionate care they provided him for the past 3 years. A memorial mass will be held at the Church of the Incarnation, Centerville, Ohio, Friday, December 21, 2012 at 10:30a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions my be made to the St. Leonard Foundation, Benevolent Care Fund @
