Joseph H. Hausmann

HAUSMANN, Joseph H. "Joe" age 95 of Beavercreek died Saturday Jan 25, 2014. He was born in Lakewood, OH to Francis and Emma Hausmann who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Zita, an infant son, Joseph, and brother, Francis. He is survived by his children: Carol Hausmann, Bob (Cindy) Hausmann, Beth Simmons and Bill (Martha) Hausmann; grandchildren: Joseph Simmons, Lauren (Tyler) Deutsch, Meghann (Robert) Rankin, Lindsey and Kyle Hausmann; sister-in-law, Kathleen Armbruster, and brother-in-law, Paul Armbruster. Joe was a WWII Veteran, an electrical engineer, amateur radio operator, musician and gardener. A Latin Requiem Mass will be held 12:00 noon Friday, January 31, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 140 S. Findlay St. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00-8:00 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
