Lehman, Joseph W., Jr. (Joe), age 77, of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday November 22, 2022, at Hospice of Dayton. Joe was born June 24, 1945 in Tampa, Florida, the son of Joseph William Lehman & Anna Marie Weis Lehman.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Helen Steele Lehman, son Joseph W. IV and
wife, Amanda (Ami) of Blanchard, Oklahoma, daughters Margaret (Maggie) of
Toledo, Ohio and Theresa Seidenschmidt and husband, Joe, of Beavercreek;
grandchildren Makenzie & Joey Lehman of Blanchard, Oklahoma and AJ & Andy
Seidenschmidt of Beavercreek.
Joe is also survived by two brothers: Richard (Dick) & wife Linda of Dayton, Robert
(Bob) & wife Karen of Indian Lake, OH, three sisters: Sally Stevens & Bob of
Baneberry, TN, Connie Falcone & Bob Maier of Asheville, NC, Mary Jane Anderson
& Andy of Lynchburg, VA and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Joe is former president of the Dayton Carvers Guild and a long time participant and supporter of Artistry in Wood. He was a founding Boy Scout leader of Troop 167 at Ascension Church in Kettering.
Joe married the love of his life, Helen, on August 14, 1971.
Joe retired in April 2003 from General Motors. He was a toolmaker for over 40 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am Monday November 28th at Ascension Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 2-5 pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road.
