Joseph "Joe" Otto

OTTO, Joseph passed away unexpectedly this week in Athens, Ohio. Joe is a senior in the Honors Tutorial College at Ohio University and was a 2013 graduate of Centerville High School. Joe’s passion for music at Ohio University included both orchestra and a cappella. He was a former member of the Centerville High School Orchestra and Forte programs, as well as the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Program. He is survived by his parents, Tim and JoAnne Otto of Centerville; his sister, Margaret Otto of Charlottesville, VA; grandfather, Andrew Markel; aunts, uncles and a large extended family. Joe will be sorely missed by his family and friends both locally and in Athens, and in the Honors College and Music communities at Ohio University. Friends and family may visit from 2-6 pm on Sunday, August 28 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd., Kettering. A mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 am on Monday, August 29 at Church of the Incarnation. Final resting place Calvary Cemetery.
