Joseph M Prevish

PREVISH, Joseph M., age 86 of Centerville, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016. He was born on July 30, 1930 in Ambridge, PA to the late, Joseph J. and Marian (Holesh) Prevish. Also preceding him in death are grandson Emmanuel Zientko and brother Thomas (Judy) Prevish. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marjorie (Mertz) Prevish; children, Karen (Brad) Hutchinson, Melinda (Rick) Adkins, Joseph Prevish, John (Val) Prevish, Beth (Todd) Zientko, Jim (Darla) Prevish; grandchildren, Sara, Kevin, Ellen, Nolan, Brian, Joshua, Benjamin, William, Jacob, Tyler, Max, Roman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Dayton and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Xavier University. He retired after 33 years with WPAFB as manager of the Radar/ECCM Development Group. Visitation for family and friends is from 5:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 20 at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. There will also be a visitation from 9:30-10:30 am on Wednesday, December 21 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the American Heart Association.
