Joyce Ann Weisman

Joyce A. Weisman, born March 6, 1929 to Paul and Florence (Ingram) Leech at home in Muncie, Indiana
passed away peacefully early Thursday morning at Trinity Nursing Home.

Joyce was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years Robert Weisman, parents and
stepmother Carmel, brother Charles Leech and baby Charles, brothers and sisters in law – Carl and Martha Hatton, Tom and Clara Weisman.

Survived by children; Daniel Weisman, Jean (Dave) Licklider, Joseph (Deb) Weisman. Grandchildren; Travis Weisman, Jason (Tracey) Smallwood, Carolyn (Matt) Harper, Julie (Mike) Blaskovich, John Licklider, Ken (Betsy) Licklider, Dustin (Sara?) Weisman, Jacob Weisman, Jackie (Daniel) Stammen,
And Jacob Weisman. Sisters in law Mary Ann (Jimm) Horvath and Kathleen (Jim) Nurrenbrock.
Great Grandchildren; Abby, Owen, Eliza, Deacon, Tasha, Nick, Sophie, Mikaela, Jackson, Henry, George, and Frank. Best friends Joan and Lucil and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Shortly after graduating from Fairmont High School she met the love of her life, Bob, at Indian Lake.
She worked briefly at Gallagher’s Drug Store and later at Price’s Candy; but, was primarily a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading, bowling, and playing card games with family and friends

Joyce was a loving Mother and Nanaw and would do anything in the world for her family, especially the grandchildren that she delighted in having around. She was a friendly, welcoming, fun person loved by all who knew her. Following the death in January of her loving Bob she was lost and broken hearted and wanted more than anything else to be with him. May they now rest in peace together.

Visitation Monday, 4pm to 7 pm, at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road. Funeral Service 10 am Tuesday at The Westbrock Funeral Home, Bigger Road. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
