REICHART, KARROL (RIDDLEBAUGH), age 92, formerly of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012. She had been a resident at The Suites at Walnut Creek since April 2008. The Riddlebaugh twins were born in the little town of Gratis in Preble County on May 4, 1919. Her brother, Keith, was born first and always led the way for Karrol. They lost their mom, Sadie (Miller) Riddlebaugh to TB, shortly after their birth. It was when the twins were 2 years old, that their dad, Earl Riddlebaugh, moved his family to Dayton. It was the DEPRESSION and times were really bad. Earl allowed his older daughters, Kathryn and Louise to live with people that needed help with chores. They worked and earned their room and board while going to school. Keith and Karrol were raised in Dayton and attended Stivers High School. After school, Karrol went to work for the Hewitt Soap Company where she retired from after 45 years of service. She married the love of her life, Ross Reichart on December 14, 1971; they had fun until Ross passed away in 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sadie (Miller) and Earl Riddlebaugh, husband, Ross Reichart Sr., twin brother, Keith Riddlebaugh, sisters: Kathryn (Riddlebaugh) Brown and Louise (Riddlebaugh-Sarver) Tucker. She is survived by, her niece, Diana Lee (Riddlebaugh) Schwieterman and husband, Roman; nephew, Gene Riddlebaugh and his daughters, Laura and Kristen and their families; brother-in-law, John Brown; niece, Kathy (Brown) and husband, Dennis Leonard, nephew, Mike Brown and wife Regina, niece, Geneva (Sarver) and huband Jim Gregory; cousins: Anna Lee Miller, Sandra (Miller) Karns and husband Terry, Judy Miller and Brenda (Miller) Ross, Ronald Miller and wife Jayne, Robert Miller and wife Sharon, Marilyn (Miller) Tyler and her step son Edward Reichart. The family sends a special "Thank You" to Deloris Speaks and the special care givers at Walnut Creek Assisted Living. Visitation will be held, Sunday, March 4th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Road, Kettering. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 5th at the funeral home followed by a burial at Woodland Cemetery.
