Bertke, Kathleen R. (McMahon) age 90, of Kettering passed away Friday November 25, 2016. Kathleen was a member of St. Anthony Parish for 52 years. She was a longtime accomplished seamstress and had a love of quilting. She was a longtime UD Basketball fan and a season ticket holder for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and Frank McMahon; her husband of 51 years, Eugene Bertke; daughter, Patricia Woodall, Daughter-in-law, April Bertke; granddaughter, Kina Hubert; great grandson, Anthony Miller; brothers, John (Florence), Robert and Dennis (Betty) McMahon; sister, Madonna Canty (Michael) and numerous other relatives. She is survived by daughters; Karen Drerup (Jerry), Kristine Ruschau (Steve), Mary Beth Woeste (Larry), Margaret Goodrich (Steve); sons, Larry (Jan), Tom, Kevin (Micha), Rob (Kim); 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marilyn Myers (Dutch);son-in-law, Art Woodall and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am Tuesday November 29 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Monday November 28 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Burial, Calvary Cemetey. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or St. Anthony Parish, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
