Kathleen F. Merkle

MERKLE, Kathleen F. "Kathy" age 96 passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Merkle. Kathy is survived by her sons: Thomas (Penny) Merkle and Timothy (Beda) Merkle; daughter: Sister Judith Ann Merkle, SND; grandchildren: Michelle, Sean, Gregory, Brian and Avery; great- grandchildren: Logan, Grace, Liam, Hannah, Chloe, Sarah and Lily and sisters-in-law: Sister Ann C. Merkle, CPPS and Rose M. Dillon. Kathy was a Daughter of American Revolution 8 times and involved with Notre Dame de Namur Alumni Association. She was a graduate of Julienne High School and attended The University of Dayton. Visitation will be Thursday, October 9th from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leonard's Chapel, 8100 Clyo Road, Centerville. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
