Reston was a graduate of Beavercreek High School, Class of 2005, where he lettered in Varsity Baseball. Prior to his father’s transfer to Wright Patterson AFB, Reston attended AFNorth International School in The Netherlands. During his four years there, he played both football and baseball, his first love, as well as acting in several school plays for which he earned best actor recognition. At AFNorth, he also was presented with The DOD Athletic and Academic All-Conference Award. He played on the Dutch National All-Start team for three years, competing in the European Little League Championships in Poland and Germany. After graduation from high school, Reston attended Wright State University where he became an active member of the National Phi Sigma Phi Fraternity Wright State Epsilon Beta Chapter, making many lifelong friends. Later, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he was an Honor Grad at boot camp with subsequent assignments to Goodfellow Air Force Base and Langley Air Force Base as an intelligence imagery analyst. While at Langley, he was competitively selected as the Honor Guard Flight Leader. When he left the Air Force with an Honorable Discharge, he continued to work for the Department of Defense as an imagery analyst contractor. Reston was a proud Air Force Veteran and Patriot.
Anyone who knew Reston quickly learned how passionate a sports enthusiast he was, and what a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. His gentle spirit, quick wit, sense of humor, happy eyes, and ready smile will be forever missed by all those who love him.
