Lawrence Helmers

Helmers, Lawrence F., age 94, of Kettering, passed away Monday June 17th, 2013.
Mr. Helmers, a UD graduate and a veteran of the U.S. Army, was retired from
DESC. He was an avid Bridge player. Mr Helmers was preceded in death by three
wives, Eleanor M., Eleanor G. and Jeanne; two sisters and three brothers. He is
survived by two daughters, Joan Stoppelman (Tom), Rosemary Rauch (Joe,
deceased); three sons, Jim (Mary), Tom, Bob (Lucy); 13 grandchildren, 20
great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial
10:30am Saturday, June 22nd, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Burial will
follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from
9:30-10:30 at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St.
Charles Church (4500 Ackerman Blvd. Kettering, OH 45429) Arrangements by The
Westbrock Funeral Home.
