Lelia Russell

RUSSELL, Lelia L. formerly of Cincinnati, of Dayton, passed away Monday January 16, 2012. The daughter of William & Caroline Russell, Lelia was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Stephens Churches in Cincinnati. She was also a lifetime member of the Nu Chapter of the Omega Nu Tau Sorority. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Brooks, and a niece, Barbara Kitchens. Leila is survived by her brother-in-law, Carl Brooks; nieces and nephews, Mary Jo Reding (Richard), James Brooks (Anne), Joseph Brooks (Rita), John Brooks (Misty); and numerous great-nieces and nephews. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30pm Thursday at St. Anthony Church ( 820 Bowen Street Dayton, OH. 45410 ) followed by an entombment at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-1:30pm prior to Mass at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH. 45420) or St. Vincent DePaul Conference at St. Anthony Church.
