Leona Myers

MYERS, Leona M. age 100, formerly of Dayton of Pebble Beach California, died at her home, Monday, May 11, 2009. She was one of eight children (seven girls and one boy). A native of Minster, Ohio, she was born July 19, 1908 and spent most of her life in Dayton before moving to Pebble Beach seven years ago. She was the Cafeteria Manager at St. Helen's School for over ten years. Mrs. Myers is survived by her children, Mary (Bill) Dalhamer of Pebble Beach, John "Jack" Myers of Yellow Springs, Ohio and Thomas Myers of Springfield, Ohio: her grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Joshua, Matthew and Jeremy and her great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Noah, Stephanie, Alexandra, Jack, Ashley and Katie. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1989 and her sons, James and William. Visitation will take place at Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. on Sunday, May 17 from 2:00 PM until the Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Helen's Church on Monday, May 18 at 10:00 AM preceded by a prayer service, 9:30 AM at the funeral home.Burial at Calvary Cemetery.
