Leonard V. Reinert

REINERT, Leonard V. Age 77, Kettering, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 21, 1936 to the late Jess and Leonard Reinert. Also preceding him in death are his brother Bob Reinert, sisters, Dorthy (Bob) Werner, Rita (Leo) Swartz, Phyllis (Larry) Reboulet and Jerri's step-son David Sherrill. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 yrs. Jerri (Sherrill) Reinert, his brother Jack (Joyce) Reinert, daughters Lisa Keller, Tracy (Jeff) Zimmerman, son, Kevin Reinert, step-son Don (Melissa) Sherrill, daughter-in-law Jacqueline Sherrill. Sixteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A fond farewell to his friends in Florida, Jerry and Patti Peterson and the James Mckee family. He sadly leaves behind his very special friends Ralph & Nancy Hinders, Bob and Lois Ulrich, Larry Luerhers and Bob Keller. He was a 1954 graduate of Chaminade High School. He was a very loyal member of the I.B.E.W. Local 82 for 48 years. He also loved his membership in the Dayton Flyers club. Lenny graciously gave his body to Wright State University, School of Medicine. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday January 10, 2014. At 10:30am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Visitation from 9:30 - 10:30am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton
